Few Good Jobs for New Lawyers?

I'm not sure how I missed this article a few months ago...in September, the Wall Street Journal featured a fantastic cover story about new lawyers struggling to find good jobs ("Hard Case: Job Market Wanes for U.S. Lawyers"). The article provides solid evidence that "the majority of law-school graduates" have high debt, can't find jobs -- and "many are blaming their law schools for failing to warn them about the dark side of the job market." Specifically, students are upset that many law schools imply (on their websites and other sources) that their graduates earn high salaries, but this information is often incorrect and misleading. One of the most outspoken critics of these practices is "Loyola 2L," an anonymous online writer who claims to be a second-year student at Loyola Law School. The bottom line is that anyone considering law school should read this article, and then attend a school that will truly offer good value. Avoid the Law School Rip-off!
